This winter was Siberian cold here, and we were the whole time blocked at home. I desperately wanted to have a little bit of spring feeling, so I started searching inside the carton boxes I use to gather all the unused decoration elements from the years past. I came across a couple of sea snail shells, and since I had a couple of Hyacinths in a small vase i put them together inside a bigger wave, adding some moss. The final effect was better than I though, and it did indeed give me a warm feeling of Spring coming.
I placed the vase on top of our dining table, and it made a wonderful tale decoration, don’t you think?

A closer picture of the vase, even if the hyacinth slowly falls down under its own weight, the structure and the symmetry remain beautiful.

The flower of the Hyacinth is simply beautiful, with its creamy white color…

The snail empty shells do give a feeling of beach, summer, warmth… exactly what I needed in this Siberian weather!
